• Ragi: 1 cup
  • Water: 2.5 cup
  • Oil:2 tbsp
  • Curry leaves: 1 tbsp
  • Green chilly: 2 chopped
  • Hing: a pinch
  • Jeera: 1/2tsp
  • Rai: 1/2tsp
  • Onion: 1 finely sliced
  • Ginger: 1 tbsp. finely chopped
  • Peanuts:2 tblsp
  • Chana dal:1 tblsp
  • Urad dal:1 tblsp

  1. Wash and sock ragi rava for 30 mins, drain excess water and keep a side.
  2. Take a pan,put oil jeera and rai and allow to crackle.
  3. Add dals peanuts and fry till golden colour.
  4. Add onion, hing, green chili, ginger, curry leaves. Fry till pink in colour.
  5. Add socked rava and saute for about 2-3 mins. Add water and salt and allow it to boil.
  6. Cover the lid and cook till all water absorbed. Stir between for even cooking.
  7. When water absorbed ,off the gas and keep covered.
  8. Put coriander leaves and lemon juice and serve hot.
