INGREDIENTS

To Be Blended Into A Smooth Cottage Cheese Mixture

1 cup low-fat paneer cubes

4 tsp sugar
-
few saffron (kesar) strands dissolved in 4 tbsp low-fat milk (99.7% fat free)

1 tsp cornflour
For The Fruit Filling

1 cup sliced apple
-
4 tsp brown sugar
-
1/4 tsp nutmeg (jaiphal) powder

a few drops lemon juice
DIRECTIONS
For the fruit filling

Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl, cover and keep aside for 15 minutes.

Arrange the fruit in a greased 150 mm. (6") diameter pie dish.
How to proceed:

Spread the cottage cheese mixture over the fruit and bake in a pre-heated oven at 220°c (440°f) for 15 minutes. Serve warm.
